Every other year, the Council for Exceptional Children, Prince George's County Chapter 263 recognizes outstanding professionals who go above and beyond in providing services to people with special needs. This is your opportunity to honor them.
NOMINATION PROCEDURES:
1. One nomination form should be completed by the contact person. 2. Send at least 3 support letters. (This should be assembled as a packet along with other supportive documentation) 3. In the supportive packet, identify specific achievements, contributions, projects, service or special events where the nominee has demonstrated his/her contribution to students with disabilities in the following capacity:
I. As a Leader/Collaborator II. As a Learner III. Family and Community Partnerships
4. List any additional comments to support your nominee. (Presentation of the packet is important). 5. Include photos of the nominee "in action." 6. You are also welcome to include newspaper articles and other artifacts in the presentation of your packet. (The packets will be presented to the nominee during the Awards Ceremony). 7. No faxes will be accepted.

Last April 27, 2010, the Prince George's County CEC Chapter 263 held our biannual Awards Reception to recognize people who work above and beyond to uplift the lives of people with disabilities as well as their families. Click on the presentation below to meet the nominees and the winners.
